This week we’re featuring the podcast A Couple of Characters!
A podcast about creating unique and unusual RPG characters with elaborate backstories.
Have you ever had an idea for a character you wanted to play, but you were at your maximum capacity for games? We sure have, which is why we made A Couple of Characters, a platform for us to share our character ideas with the world. Some of our quirky creations include: a warlock married to her flail, two halflings in a trench coat, and a pacifist barbarian.
We are Alex (he/him) and Quinn (she/her), a couple who have bonded over our love of fantasy and gaming. Each episode, we create a new character and often discuss characters that inspire us from outside of TTRPGs.
We’ve also had the opportunity to host guests from various backgrounds and identities. These guests inspired us to create an actual play campaign with a visually impaired protagonist loosely based off of Alex’s own personal experiences.
Join us every other Thursday as we create interesting characters, suggest gameplay improvements, and discuss other topics related to roleplaying games.
