SECTION 1 – WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT?
We do not collect personal data without consent from our listeners, and neither from the visitors to our site. The only information we receive from outside sources are analytics collected by BluBrry and those viewed through Google Analytics and WordPress’ Jetpack. This data includes, but is not limited to: number of visitors, visitor’s bounce page, number of downloads, number of plays, region demographics (if user allows), bounce rates, and etc.
When you provide your email by subscribing to our mailing list, your name and email is added to an address book of a separate and secure email client, and then deleted from the cotdnd.com email server, which is so that your email can never be stolen if the cotdnd.com email server is hacked. Beyond being added to the secure email client’s address book, we do not sell or distribute, in any way, your name or email to third parties for any reason. We will only use your name and email to send notifications of new episodes, content, news, and/or upcoming promotions.
SECTION 2 – CONSENT
By filling out the contact form to subscribe to the mailing list, you give your consent for us to add your name and email to our secure email client’s address book to be used for the above stated purposes only.
All recipients of the mailing list can revoke their consent at any time by emailing: comedy@cotdnd.com and asking to be removed from the mailing list. Or by following the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of received emails.
SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE
All names and emails collected for the mailing list are only used for the express purpose of the mailing list. These names and emails will never be sold, distributed, or given to any third party vendors for any purpose.
SECTION 4 – AGE OF CONSENT
As Comedy of Terrors podcast contains adult language and themes, by using this site you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
SECTION 5 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on this website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify all members subscribed to the mailing list. That way you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
If our company is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to provide you with services.
